Mandatory Skill Set

  • Experience: 3–10 years in cybersecurity roles (3+ for Medior, 7+ for Senior)
  • Technical networking background with ability to translate architecture into design
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and hardware security
  • Solid understanding of:
  • IDS/IPS
  • SIEM
  • DLP
  • Endpoint protection
  • Encryption technologies
  • Experience securing hybrid infrastructures (on-prem, cloud, media-specific systems)
  • Proven skills in incident detection, analysis, and response
  • Knowledge of Cisco, Checkpoint, and Fortinet firewalls
  • Fluency in English (French or Dutch conversational level preferred)
  • Based in Belgium, able to work hybrid (3 days onsite)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, CCSP, CCNA, CCNP, Arista ACE, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE, Fortinet NSE 4–7
  • Knowledge of broadcast media environments and video-over-IP
  • Familiarity with automation/scripting for security (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with Arista security-enabled networking products
  • Understanding of ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR compliance processes
  • Experience in security audits and remediation tracking
  • Ability to deliver internal security training
