Senior Graphics Engineer | Algorithms / Rendering

Onsite in Tampere or Helsinki, Finland

Are you a seasoned Graphics Engineer with a passion for pushing the boundaries of real-time rendering?

One of the largest telecommunications companies in the world - a global leading provider of information and communications solutions is looking for an experienced engineer to join the company in Tampere, Finland.

You will play a pivotal role in optimising the core rendering engine for smart devices and open-source platforms.

What you'll do:

• Optimize and refine the core algorithms of our rendering engine, ensuring peak performance and stunning visual fidelity.
• Take ownership of the rendering engine's performance and visual competitiveness, continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve.
• Contribute significantly to the ongoing development of our 3D engine and toolchain, supporting both our proprietary smart device OS and open-source initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of professional experience in 3D graphics rendering development.
• Proven expertise in 3D graphics rendering techniques, particularly those applied in UI frameworks and games.
• Exceptional proficiency in C++ programming and a strong understanding of multi-threaded programming paradigms.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following graphics APIs: Vulkan, DX12, Metal, or OpenGL ES.
• Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, including remote interactions.
• An appreciation for cultural differences and how they contribute to harmonious cross-cultural team dynamics.
• A keen understanding of business rules and the ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
