Intermediate .Net Developer – 12 Month Contract, Dublin

What’s Involved

• Collaborate in a skilled team to deliver large-scale API solutions.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy APIs using modern technologies and RESTful best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
• Conduct debugging, performance tuning, and third-level production support.
• Document requirements, architecture, and test plans.
• Contribute to API strategy and roadmap alongside technical architects.
• Champion secure coding and best practices.

What’s Needed

• 4+ years of API development with Microsoft .NET Core (6.0+ preferred).
• Strong ASP.NET Core MVC knowledge.
• Expertise in RESTful API design-first methodology using OpenAPI standards.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals: Firewalls, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies, Containers, Authentication.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and trunk-based Git workflows (Azure DevOps or similar).
• Solid grasp of design patterns, unit testing, CI/CD, and configuration management.
