Fire and Security Engineer

Elusav Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Fire and Security System Engineer to join our clients' Service & Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of electronic fire and security systems at commercial and industrial sites.

This is a hands-on field role with a focus on delivering best-in-class service and ensuring continued safety and security for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on: Intruder alarm systems; Fire detection and alarm systems (conventional and addressable); CCTV systems (IP and analogue); Access control and intercom systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete corrective action in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with PSA licensing standards and NSAI regulations.
• Complete all service documentation and reporting via company systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients onsite.
• Participate in the on-call rota for emergency breakdown response
• Communicate with the Service Manager to update job progress and escalate issues.
• Ensure tools, stock and company vehicle are maintained in safe working condition.
• Stay up to date with relevant industry regulations and product updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in servicing electronic fire and/or security systems.
• Familiarity with various systems for CCTV/Security and Fire Detection (HKC, Siemens, Honeywell).
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally at client sites.
