INVESTMENT ASSISTANT - TRAINEE (3 month contract) (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are looking for a colleague to join the Ignitis Renewables Investment team, where you will support the improvement of our investment decision-making by helping to develop and implement analytical tools. This is a full time position for 3 months.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Developing and refining analytical tools and models for evaluating investment and M&A projects
• Gathering, validating, and analyzing financial, technical, and market data
• Assisting in evaluating new projects and preparing summary reports
• Monitoring the investment and M&A opportunities portfolio and updating dashboards
• Supporting investment analysis by performing sensitivity checks and summarizing findings
• Participating in team meetings and helping improve internal evaluation processes.
  
  
  

Required for this position:

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Data Science, or a similar field
• Experience in investments, M&A, or market research would be an advantage
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with data analysis tools or programming languages like Python, R, or VBA
• Strong analytical and math skills, with great attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of financial terms like IRR, EBITDA, and valuation multiples is a plus
• Well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Good at solving problems and taking initiative.

Salary range for this position group: is 1120 to 1680 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
