Senior Front End Developer - Global Advanced Tech Leader

We have partnered with a leading DeepTech company in Sydney developing cutting-edge software solving a real-world team.

The team work across a range of technologies with multiple openings across Senior Frontend Developer AND Senior Full Stack Developer using React, Node.js, TypeScript and AWS.

About the Role:

As a Senior Developer, you’ll play a key role in developing a robust customer portal that provides seamless real-time updates. You'll work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers and collaborate with other departments to ensure our portal delivers an exceptional user experience while solving real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a scalable customer portal using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Build and implement real-time updates to provide users with instant, reliable information
• Leverage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure a secure and robust environment for the portal
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver a seamless and user-centric experience
• Optimize performance, ensuring the portal remains responsive and efficient even under high traffic conditions
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure best practices in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends

Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in Software Developer development with any of the following frameworks; React, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Golang, and AWS.
• Proven track record of building and delivering customer-facing portals or platforms with real-time data handling
• Experience with cloud services (AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.) and deploying scalable web applications
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and modern development tools (Git, CI/CD)
• Familiarity with agile development practices and working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and learning
