Role Overview

The Trading Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining the firm’s proprietary trading systems. This is a hands-on development position within a fast-paced, technology-driven trading environment. The ideal candidate is a mid-level developer with a strong analytical background and a passion for financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the backend of the proprietary trading platform.
• Implement new algorithmic trading strategies.
• Integrate and maintain third-party APIs.
• Provide operational support to trading teams.
• Propose and deliver innovative system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Trading Engineer or in a similar software development role within finance or trading.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience in API development and event-driven architecture.
• Working knowledge of Python (preferred).
• Proficiency with MySQL or other SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Redis and Docker.
