Python Developer - Trading Automation Team - Amsterdam

A leading high-frequency trading firm based in Amsterdam is seeking an adept Python Software Developer to join their Trading automation team. You will be joining a high-performance team who focus on developing applications to streamline business workflows and optimize trading workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that optimize trading workflows
• Identify inefficiencies across business operations and develop suitable automated solutions
• Develop solutions related to data frameworks and data ingestion
• Collaborate with trading teams and software development teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks
• Provide operational support for trading software and automated solutions

Requirements:

• A university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ Years of experience with Python development
• Experience with Golang and JavaScript (nice-to-have)
• Strong knowledge of and experience working with Linux/Unix
• Experience with containerisation tools (nice-to-have)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong experience with stakeholder management
