Role Description

Working remotely from anywhere in Australia, this is a great opportunity to join our growing team. We are looking for a versatile DevSecOps engineer to join us. In this role, you will take ownership of our AWS infrastructure and integrate security best practices throughout our software development lifecycle.

• Monitor and respond to AWS performance and security alerts.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions).
• Work closely with our development team to automate infrastructure deployments (AWS CDK).
• Implement security best practices with a focus on SOC2 compliance.
• Integrate security checks and automated testing into the development lifecycle.
• You will also have the option to contribute to our product development as a fullstack dev (TypeScript, Node.js, React.js).
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our processes.

Skills

• Must have: 4+ years strong experience in AWS (Cloudwatch, ECS, CDK, IAM)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2.
• CI/CD experience with tools such as Github Actions.

• Tools: SAST, DAST and vulnerability scanners (Snyk)
