Performance Engineer

As part of our Competency Center, we host one of the largest Performance Testing Teams in Poland. Our engineers work with industry-leading tools and test a wide range of technologies — from websites and APIs, through ERP systems and video streaming platforms, to IoT solutions. Your tasks

• Creating innovative Next Generation Performance Tests using the Shift Left approach
• Planning and implementing performance tests
• Building performance testing frameworks and environments
• Preparing test scripts using selected tools (such as Locust, Gatling, K6)
• Collecting results using APM tools
• Building automated analysis mechanisms
• Automating the entire process using CI/CD tools, APM tools, performance testing tools, and automated analysis
• Participating in challenging projects for clients across various sectors
• Collaborating with experienced performance testing professionals
• Proposing relevant performance indicators
• Performing root cause analysis of performance issues

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in performance testing
• Proven experience with testing applications in cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
• Ability to independently set up load testing environments in the cloud using AWS and Azure
• Solid skills in using and maintaining virtualized environments based on Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Nomad (a plus)
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or Scala
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and knowledge of API technologies and JSON structure
• Previous work with performance tuning on Linux and Windows systems
• Experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) and a solid understanding of the software development and testing lifecycle
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies
• An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
