Head of R&D and Service Controlling

Your Contribution

Responsible for month end close including SAP and reporting according to the corporate timeline
Perform and orchestrate regional planning, budgeting & forecasting and closing activities
Responsible for preparing the standard monthly and yearly R&D reports
Responsible for preparing the subsidies activities
Making analysis by product and spliting into MARS reporting system
Creating monthly R&D invoices to other Plants and Management Entities
Tracking R&D performance (available time vs. booked time)
Responsible for R&D CAPEX monthly tracking
Responsible for the API count in partnership within R&D Center
Cost control of the R&D and Service facility, ability to understand and explain key variance drivers
Analyze and understand the R&D Project costs
Analyze overall performance, identify potential improvement areas and drive optimization measurement
Support R&D Center Manager with analysis like customer project R&D spend
Responsible for annual Budget and Monthly Forecast for OR and ONCF level
Focus on R&D savings initiatives - providing cost analysis to develop and implement cost reductions and correctives actions plans
Maintain internal controls and highly adherence to company policies and procedures
Work with support Finance Corporate shared service (accounting, tax, Customs, treasury, audit)
Supports internal and external audits
Take ownership of talent management practices within your team. This includes, but is not limited to, diversity, equity and inclusion, learning and development, performance management, and succession planning

Your Experience & Qualifications

Basic skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting
5+ years’ experience in similar position ideally in automotive sector
5+ years’ experience in SAP system
Slovenia language, English language, German language is a plus
Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong data and financial analytics skills. Ability to manage high volumes of information and convert into summarized conclusions and recommend actions
Innovative – continuous improvement
Microsoft excel Advanced, fully knowledge in power point bridge reports
Manufacturing / automotive sector experience
Cost accounting experience

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Decision making and problem-solving focus
Lead with confidence
Strong communication skills written and verbal along with individual and group environment
