Cyber Security Architect

Role Overview:

As a Cybersecurity Solution Architect, you will design and oversee technical security solutions such as PKI, IDS, and Secure Boot, working with conceptual architectures and system topologies. You will define cybersecurity attribute requirements, guide their allocation at the ECU level, and execute vehicle TARA based on E/E architecture and project topology. This role requires strong project management skills to drive the implementation of key security features like the Key Management System across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, document, and implement security solutions for PKI, IDS, Secure Boot.
• Develop conceptual cybersecurity architectures and topologies.
• Write cybersecurity attribute requirements and allocate them to ECU level.
• Execute Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) considering system and component exposure.
• Lead cybersecurity planning, define project timelines, and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate across teams and stakeholders to integrate CS features into vehicle systems.
• Support type approval processes (e.g., R155) and ensure compliance.
• Implement SecOC for J1939 and LIN communication.
• Utilize Vector tools for cybersecurity development and testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years in cybersecurity architecture and embedded engineering.
• Experience with R155 type approval processes.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity requirements engineering and TARA execution.
• Knowledge of connected communication technologies (CAN, Ethernet).
• In-depth expertise in PKI (onboard and offboard) and Key Management Systems.
• Proven experience writing cybersecurity requirements aligned with industry practices.
• Hands-on experience with SecOC implementation.
• Familiarity with Vector solutions for cybersecurity.
