What project we have for you

Our Customer is the European R&D centre for the biggest world leading brands. Together, we will work on a new electric mobility technology and solutions that aim to satisfy the global demand for premium electric vehicles.

What you will do

• Define and lead the architecture of complex Android applications using Kotlin.
• Guide and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Design business-critical features and integration components.
• Lead architectural and design discussions across teams, including product, UX, and backend.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on best practices and architectural principles.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews, ensuring adherence to design patterns and coding standards.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Actively contribute to planning, estimations, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and with distributed teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

What you need for this

• 7+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale Android applications in Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android SDKs, architecture components, and mobile design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
• Experience architecting business-critical and integration-heavy applications.
• Proficiency in guiding the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Strong ability to articulate complex technical challenges and solutions.
• Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of leading technical initiatives.
• Experience with Embedded Automotive systems.
• Hands-on experience working with Map SDKs and Navigation solutions.
• Solid experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience in tools like Jira, Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher).

Will be a plus:

• Experience in developing Android apps for automotive Head Units.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Familiarity with reactive programming (Kotlin Coroutines/Flow).
