Project Planner – Turnkey & Offshore Projects

Location: Flexible across multiple project sites in Europe


We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a leading global organisation driving large-scale turnkey and offshore infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-performing, matrix project environment, collaborating across multiple international teams and supporting the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects.


About the Role

As a Project Planner, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring project success from tender through execution. You’ll support cross-functional teams by developing robust schedules, aligning with contract milestones, and driving project excellence through proactive planning and analysis.

You’ll be part of a dedicated planning team working across multiple locations, and your work will directly influence outcomes for projects ranging from €5M to over €1B.


Key Responsibilities

Tender & Pre-Sales Support

  • Provide schedule input during tender phases, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and risk assessment.
  • Review client specifications and translate them into feasible planning deliverables.

Project Execution & Control

  • Develop and maintain baseline project schedules aligned with contract requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, track critical paths, and update schedules based on input from engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation teams.
  • Conduct variance analysis, resource assessments, and scenario simulations.
  • Coordinate on-time delivery (OTD) processes and ensure consistent progress reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Update baseline schedules in response to major scope changes and ensure forecast accuracy.

Additional Support & Advisory

  • Provide expert planning advice, run simulations, and contribute to risk and opportunity assessments.
  • Support the development of planning tools, systems, and team competencies.
  • Drive best practices and continuous improvement across project controls.

Key Stakeholders

  • Internal: Project Managers, Tender Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Installation Teams
  • External: Clients, Subcontractors, Suppliers
  • Cross-functional coordination across global planning units and business areas


Your Profile

We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • 5–10 years’ experience in project planning within large-scale engineering, offshore, or infrastructure projects
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and other planning tools
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling logic, and resource planning
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, analytical approach
