Your new role
As a senior Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the delivery of a foundational identity and access management capability. Working within an Agile team, you will collaborate with technical leads and architects to design and implement secure, scalable solutions using Microsoft Azure and .NET Core. The role involves backend development, API integration, and enhancement of front-end interfaces to support seamless customer authentication across council applications. You will also be responsible for testing, deployment, and issue resolution, ensuring consistent delivery of technical milestones.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong backend development expertise using .NET Core, including API design and system integration
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and Cosmos DB
  
• Experience with identity frameworks, particularly Azure B2C, and a solid understanding of authentication flows
  
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and enterprise integration patterns using REST APIs, queues, or service buses
  
• Exposure to DevOps pipelines and automated build/release processes
  
• Proven ability to work effectively within Agile development environments
  
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within cross-functional teams
  
• Willingness to undergo a criminal history check prior to commencement
  

Desirable qualifications and experience:

• Degree in computer science or a related field
  
• Exposure to the Trusted Digital Identity Framework (TDIF)
