Job description

A large-scale US-based electronic music event promoter and music distributor is looking to onboard a skilled Backend developer keen on creating scalable and modular code to be used across different company internal teams and stakeholders. The role is for a very autonomous and self-sufficient talent with strong know-how with Go, Node, and experience in creating optimized APIs and leveraging microservices for a new greenfield project. This new application will merge the entire travel experience into one - from events to hotels to fun things to do nearby. The talent will be interacting with other team members as well as an internal cross-functional team.

Required Skills:

· 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer

· 4+ years of experience with Go

· 2+ years of experience with Node

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential

· Great English communication skills, both spoken and written

Bonus Skills:

· Hands-on experience with GraphQL

Offer Details:

· Long-term contractor position.

· Full-time dedication (40 hours/week)

· REQUIRED: 6-hour overlap with PST (Pacific Standard Time)
