Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Contract || Remote
8 hrs overlap with US hours
Role:
Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS (EKS, RDS, S3) skills, CI/CD (GitHub Actions) expertise, and a passion for automation. Must be adept at containerized deployments, Linux/Unix administration, and Cloudflare configuration, with scripting ability in Bash, Python, Ruby, or ideally Go.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and automate AWS & Cloudflare services for performance and security.
- Deploy/manage containerized apps (EKS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Troubleshoot using observability tools (Honeycomb, CloudWatch).
- Apply security best practices and optimize costs/performance.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years DevOps with cloud infrastructure.
- Strong backend development in Go & Node.js (TypeScript).
- Experience with Next.js in Dockerized environments.
- Event-driven microservices architecture.
- IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- REST & GraphQL API oversight.
- PostgreSQL, DNS, SSL, email configuration.
- Bonus: Experience in ticketing, travel, or hospitality industries.
