GRC consultant

GRC Specialist/Cyber Security Officer in a global consultancy experienced in ISO2700x, NIST, or GDPR. This vital role requires experts in the field to join and make an instant impact on tech-driven projects improving the security of a major client based out of Brussels.

Location: Hybrid, Brussels

Contract Length: 4 months with extension

Start Date: Urgent

Key Responsibilities

• Speaks Dutch fluently
• Provide expert security advice across IT and business projects, ensuring alignment with security policies and best practices.
• Design, implement, and embed security processes and governance frameworks to safeguard client systems and data.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable security guidelines, regulations, and standards in ISO 2700x, NIST
• Communicate the value and necessity of information security to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify emerging security needs and proactively shape the future IT security strategy and roadmap.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage incidents, and oversee security awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with teams on secure cloud adoption, addressing associated risks and benefits.
• Prepare and deliver clear reports on security posture, risks, and improvements to management and other stakeholders.
