Job Title: Security Engineer – Microsoft Specialist

Remote

600 - 800 EUR Per Day

12 Month Contract - Possible extension

Must be based in Belgium

We’re seeking an experienced and highly skilled Security Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies to join a global company within the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security architecture in Microsoft environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, etc.)
• Monitor and manage security incidents using Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender,
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans across Microsoft systems and recommend remediation
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to embed security best practices in Microsoft-based infrastructure
• Provide guidance and support for security-related audits and incident response

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on Microsoft environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Purview
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features, Active Directory, and Azure AD
• Proficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred)
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and secure cloud principles
