Middle QA Engineer

The QM division has 2 streams (QA and SDET), which gives the opportunity to grow both technically and as a manager. There’s a possibility to switch from manual testing to automatization, with the help of almost 200 experienced colleagues. We work with various domains: transportation, travel, fashion, finance etc.

Salary range €1450-€3050 gross, based on your experience and interview results.

Please note that this role is only open to candidates based in Vilnius.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the development of test plans and strategies for software applications, including creating test cases and scenarios, and identifying areas of the application that require more testing
• Execute manual tests, document test results, and work with developers to resolve defects
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that software applications meet or exceed quality standards, and ensure that software is delivered on time and within budget
• Report defects and issues found during testing, and work with developers to ensure that they are resolved
• Analyze test results, identify patterns and trends, and provide insights to development teams to help improve software quality
• Communicate technical issues and testing progress to stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and product owners
• Participation in estimation of testing efforts

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally you have:
• At least 2 years of QA experience
• Solid understanding of QA process
• Ability to design effective and efficient test cases and test scenarios for complex software applications
• Ability to identify and prioritize testing activities based on risk analysis
• Ability to contribute to the development of a comprehensive test strategy for the software application
• Ability to identify and suggest process improvements to streamline testing, improve test coverage, and increase testing efficiency
• Willingness to continuously learn new technologies, testing tools, and testing methodologies to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
• Good analytical skills
• Knowledge and skills to work in agile environment
• Knowledge of various software testing techniques and methods, as well as experience applying them
• B2 and higher level of both spoken and written English

Nice to have:

• Experience working with programming languages and tools commonly used in software development, such as SQL, Unix, or scripting languages like Python
• Knowledge of automated testing tools, including experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or other similar tools to test the performance, scalability, and reliability of software applications
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and deployment process
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or other similar tools to create and manage test cases, test suites, and test runs
• Experience working with the popular cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP and others)
