Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Front-End Developer for a long term and hybrid freelance mission in Brussels. We currently have 4 positions available on this project, please forward this role onto anyone you think could be interested!

IMPORTANT NOTE: All of the positions require either Dutch OR French Fluency + English AND the candidate must already be residing in Belgium.

Location: Brussels (2 days onsite / 3 days WFH)

Duration: 12 Month initial contract

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Front-End Developer/Engineer to join our ambitious modernization project. You will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing seamless, modern, and responsive user interfaces.
• Integrating RESTful services into the front-end application.
• Collaborating with designers and other stakeholders to translate designs into efficient and reusable code.
• Shaping the architecture and optimizing the front-end for a superior user experience.
• Working within a dynamic team, fostering communication and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in front-end application development.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with the Angular 2+ framework (preferred).
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, single-page applications, and API integration (preferred).
• Experience in front-end microservices architecture, web portal development, and cloud-native applications (a plus).
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (both technical and non-technical).
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest trends in front-end development.
• Knowledge and experience with UX/UI design (a plus).
• Knowledge of Java SE10+ (a plus).

Languages:

• Active knowledge of two of the following: Dutch, French, English (mandatory).
• Fluency in all three languages is a strong advantage.
