Our client's digital journey continues, to enable us to run business at full speed. To ensure we can deliver this in the EMEA region, we are now looking for a (senior) Project Engineer Server Hosting & Cloud in the IT Operations EMEA Team.

You will be part of the IT Operations EMEA team and will together with your colleagues of the End User Computing, IAM & Network ensure the quality, compliance and innovation for the infrastructure services in the region.

Your place of work will be Wilrijk, Belgium.

This position reports to the IT Operations Manager EMEA.

Responsibilities

You take ownership of the different technologies involved in the Server Hosting & Cloud service in the EMEA region.

You work closely together with the Support Lead, the support team & our partners Insight & Atos to ensure the Server Hosting & Cloud service can be supported within the agreed SLA's and in line with the expectations of our users.

You drive pro-activity and automation to ensure incidents are prevented and the service remains healthy and compliant.

You coach and train the colleagues in the support team and the local IT teams to drive operational efficiency and excellence.

You act as the expert and support to resolve complex and critical issues.

You work closely together with the solutions & architecture team and are driving the transformation and innovation of the Server Hosting & Cloud service in the region. You are a great contributor to the different projects that are part of our roadmap.

You assist the colleagues in the demand team to define solution designs for the different demands raised by the business. You take a leading role to work closely together with the solution & Architecture team and our partners to bring the right solution and to guarantee we use standard solutions whenever possible.

You are one of the driving forces to make the shift from on prem hosting to the Cloud (Azure).

Experience

• + 5 years of experience working for a large company

• Windows & Linux server OS
• VMWare Vcenter
• Storage technologies - Dell & HP
• Server Hardware - Dell & HP
• Veeam backup solutions
• Azure Files & Azure File Sync
• Scripting - Powershell
• Bitlocker
• Microsoft Defender
• Active Directory & Azure AD

Education

• Higher education or equivalent experience
• You are passionate about technology and more specific technologies around network
• Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must
• ITIL Certification
• Technology certifications are a plus
