We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team in Madrid. You will play a crucial role in driving the evolution and enhancement of our technical landscape, specifically supporting the origination business.

What you will do:

• Act as Business Analyst for enhancements to existing ETRM system functionality and new implementations.
• Analyze business requests, model complex cases, and define technical solutions that support our origination business in the main European gas and electricity markets.
• Document user requirements and write clear Business and Functional Specifications for IT developers.
• Ensure consistency between business requirements and technical implementation; apply configuration changes where needed.
• Serve as the main point of contact for departments regarding system functionalities and requirement definition.
• Collaborate on projects and assume technical responsibility within your area.
  
  
  

What you bring & who you are:

• Education in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Energy Trading Industry.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional project streams, coordinating between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Strong prioritization and organization skills with a detail-oriented analytical profile.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
