Role Overview
As a UI/UX Designer at Studaro, you will have the opportunity in working on pioneering software and brand new solutions that will impact and reshape the future of work for every next generation. You will be responsible for conducting strong user research, translating insights into actionable design specifications, and collaborating with our development team to implement solutions that improve user experience and data flow across applications. Key responsibilities:
User research
- Perform user studies with all stakeholders both internal and external.
- Understand what market needs they have, what kind of User Experience they are looking for and what works best for companies, Studarians, internal employees etc.
- Observe what parts of the system can be improved to suit their needs
- Evaluate the interconnection between different tools in regards to the needs of every partner.
- Perform user studies with users of public facing website
- Goal is to understand the Studarian interaction patterns to improve the quality and quantity of student data
- Being able to rethink designs and be an innovator when it comes to UI, but keep in mind that the KISS-principle is crucial.
Support in issue creation and prioritisation
- Based on the conversations in the team, support in creating, populating and prioritising issues
User-Centric Design
- Based on the user research, create user-centered design proposals
- Get input from the development team
- Get feedback on implementation suggestions from those impacted
- Re-iterate on designs

Studaro will develop different kinds of innovation to help scale our model and enhance what we do.
- Review existing materials
- Conduct additional user research if necessary to fill knowledge gaps and create a unique UX / UI that is a solution which fills the needs of our customers. (We already know what is needed, but if you apply you’ll know more ;)
- Collaborate with the development team to define achievable goals for the upcoming quarter.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualise the MVP.
- Bonus: want to challenge yourself? Next level product videos is something we would want to brainstorm about with you!
What we are looking for:
Experience:
- Preferably 3 years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Proven experience conducting user research and usability testing. Crucial, user research and knowing what our target audiences want/need/will use is crucial before developing.
Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex user needs into clear design specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Notion.
- A plus, not a necessity, would be if you can create product teaser videos. But if you’re interested in learning how to do this, we’re already very happy!
