Backend Engineer

DESCRIPTION

Join our client’s Feature Team as a Backend Engineer and take a pivotal role in crafting the systems that bring game features to life! From designing scalable architectures to powering in-game functionalities, you’ll work alongside creative developers to deliver seamless, immersive experiences that players love.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain a scalable backend platform that supports millions of users.
• Own the full lifecycle of solutions, from gathering requirements to production, with a focus on reducing time-to-market through thoughtful design.
• Write clean, high-performance code that adheres to industry best practices and standards.
• Explore and experiment with new technologies, tools, and third-party frameworks to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to new team members.
• Tech stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, Node.js, TypeScript, Redis, and MySQL.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of proven record in server applications design and development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud architecture.
• Proficient in a major development language such as Node.js OR TypeScript, but if experienced with another programming language and willing to switch to Node.js and TypeScript, is fine too
• Passion for learning new technologies and applying them to make a difference.
