System Engineer

We are currently hiring for System Engineer to join one of our major clients based out of UAE.

Job Details:

Role: System Engineer

Employment Type: 12 months & extendable contract

Work Location: Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE

Notice Period: 30 days or less

Job Responsibilities:

Incident Management & Troubleshooting

• Handle escalated system-related incidents from L1 teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for servers, storage systems, and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).

System Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor system performance and health using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios.
• Conduct regular maintenance, including patch management, firmware updates, and backups.

Configuration & Deployment

• Assist in the configuration, installation, and deployment of servers, storage solutions, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation of system setups, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
