L2 Network Engineer

Experience:

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in network engineering or IT support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with network devices such as Cisco, Aruba, or Fortinet.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP).
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Good knowledge of technologies like SDN, ACI & SDWAN
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
  • Basic knowledge of network security concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, access control).
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent.
  • CompTIA Network+.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
