Software Engineer

Join us as a Software Engineer and build the next generation of Hoxhunt's human first cybersecurity platform. You will be working with the most modern tech for creating web apps that will be used by our 1,000,000+ users globally to protect, detect and respond to cybersecurity threats. You will build performant and scaleable back-end services and intuitive user interfaces that help our customers manage and customise their journey on the Hoxhunt platform. You will also improve our code health, tooling and coach others to build maintainable and testable architectures with modern tools.

We’ve created a unique twist to your standard security training and compliance technologies. Our platform is part game and part education. We’ve found the two are necessary to create a security product that people truly want to engage with. As a Software Developer, you’ll get to deliver a product that is at the intersection of fun, informative and user-friendly!

The key technologies we use: TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Golang, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker and other public cloud technologies.

Role Overview

Our team develop Hoxhunt's dynamic and rapidly growing core products. You will have the opportunity to shape the development and future of this product, along with improving processes in the team. In this role you will also deal with actual threat data and keeping our customers safe in a constantly evolving environment. Your work will be full-stack engineering around our core products.

The projects you'll be working on are diverse and the domain offers a large amount of possibilities:

• Frontend-heavy & UX-focused
• Backend-focused where data plays major part.
• Integrations to other applications.
  
  

We are looking for two persons, on senior-level engineer and one mid-level. This roles is based out of our Headquarters in Helsinki. The salary range for the senior position is €6000-€6500/month and for the mid-level position €5200-€5700.

Who are we looking for?

• A solution-oriented full-stack engineer with demonstrated history from Product Development (ideally in a SaaS company).
• Someone with experience in:
• Must-haves: Typescript, React, Node
• Nice-to-haves: Golang, Graphql
• Familiarity with SCRUM and agile-methodology in general. Interest towards process improvements inside the team is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to a large domain
• Proactive and curious mindset.
• Fluent in spoken and written English
