About the role:

AI Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled AI Software Engineer to join our team. You will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, leveraging cloud-based AI platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a strong backend foundation and a passion for AI innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using platforms such as Databricks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, researchers, and engineers in an agile environment.
• Participate in prototyping, piloting, and MVP development for innovative AI-driven products.
• Implement and manage data persistence using vector and traditional databases.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing (e.g., JUnit), code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for backend AI systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in agile software development teams.
• 3+ Experience developing and deploying AI/ML or Generative AI solutions on AI platforms like Databricks.
• Strong understanding of AI and genAI application design and development.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with fine-tuning LLM
• Experience with free text categorization models and application.
• Exposure to JIRA or similar task tracking tools.
• Passion for innovation and emerging technologies in AI and software engineering.
