PHP Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a PHP Developer with strong SQL expertise to support and enhance a data ingestion pipeline. This short-term role involves maintaining and improving existing systems, implementing automation, and collaborating with engineering and analytics stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update data ingestion code based on stakeholder and vendor needs
• Collaborate with engineering partners to enhance pipeline functionality and implement best practices
• Develop automation and runbooks to streamline maintenance
• Implement alerting mechanisms to proactively address pipeline issues
• Contribute to other maintenance tasks beyond the core pipeline
  
  

Requirements

• Advanced SQL proficiency
• PHP development experience or ability to ramp up quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with automation and workflow optimization
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and suggest improvements
  
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with BigQuery
• Background in data ingestion and pipeline optimization
• Familiarity with payments or e-commerce domains
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
