This position reports to

Head of Project Management, Large Motors and Generators

Your role and responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee the order-to-delivery process for synchronous machines projects within the Large Motors and Generators division in Helsinki factory. You manage your own customer project portfolio providing clear guidelines, tasks and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback to all project stakeholders.

You will ensure and enhance customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements and targets, delivering excellent service at every stage of the project.

We offer hybrid work model. The role requires presence in Helsinki approximately 50% of working time.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Achieving project deliverables and ensuring compliance with contract requirements while collaborating with other functions
• Monitoring and controlling projects to uphold best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards
• Analyzing and addressing project risks, regularly sharing lessons learned
• Supporting development of project management processes, tools, and enhancing the quality and productivity of the function
• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Several years of experience in project business, preferably working as a Project Manager within international industrial markets
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, vendors, and subcontractors
• Collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills. Fluent spoken Finnish
