📍 Location: On-site (Oman)

💰 Salary: $4,000 USD/month*

The Senior Flowable Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of Flowable BPM solutions in alignment with enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in Flowable (or equivalent BPM tools such as Camunda or Bonita) combined with Java/Spring Boot development skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end workflow design, solution architecture, system integration, and mentoring junior developers. The position demands strong leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable business process automation solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead the design and architecture of Flowable-based BPM solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into BPMN, CMMN, and DMN models.

2. Development & Customization

• Develop, configure, and deploy workflows, cases, and decision models in Flowable.
• Extend Flowable functionalities using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

3. Integration & Automation

• Integrate Flowable with external systems via REST, SOAP, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud services.
• Implement automation scripts, connectors, and microservices to support BPM workflows.

4. Performance & Quality Assurance

• Optimize BPM workflows for performance and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.

5. Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Lead development teams in delivering BPM-related projects within scope, budget, and deadlines.

6. Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with project managers, QA teams, and business units to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in BPM solutions using Flowable.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Proven experience with BPMN 2.0, CMMN 1.1, and DMN 1.1 standards.
• Hands-on experience integrating BPM platforms with external systems and databases.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation projects and enterprise IT delivery.
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
• BPMN/CMMN/DMN certification (Preferred).
• Agile/Scrum and DevOps delivery experience.
