Job Title: IT Quality Senior Analyst

Location: Bioggio, Switzerland (Onsite - 5 days a week)

About Us:

We are seeking an experienced IT Quality Senior Analyst to join our growing team in Bioggio, Switzerland. This is an onsite position requiring a commitment of 5 days a week at the office. In this role, you will drive quality automation efforts across enterprise-level banking applications, ensuring the stability, functionality, and performance of systems at scale. You will work in a dynamic Agile environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead the design and implementation of automation strategies for testing, monitoring, and improving processes across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of QA automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing in banking applications.
• Mentor and guide automation engineers in creating test cases and frameworks suitable for web applications, APIs, and data flows.
• Review and assess test designs, plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of QA automation and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, working closely with product owners and development teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create smart, comprehensive test plans to ensure product quality and stability across multiple environments.
• Automate test cases and execute them to validate that the product meets the established criteria.
• Build and maintain automated regression test suites to continuously ensure product quality.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that end-user scenarios are accurately tested.
• Conduct sanity checks and data validations in production to ensure system integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, identifying and addressing root causes to minimize recurrence.
• Innovate and implement automation solutions to streamline SDLC processes and reduce operational risks.
• Support cloud migration activities from OCI to AWS.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in QA automation engineering, preferably in large-scale enterprise applications within the banking or financial services industry.
• Expertise in QA automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Python, MySQL, Terraform, GIT, Ansible, and Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, SQL, and automation of data flows.
• Experience testing non-functional requirements such as performance, load, and security.
• Proven ability to test and integrate enterprise systems through RESTful APIs and messaging systems like Kafka.
• Understanding of cloud architectures, caching solutions, application security, and private/public cloud infrastructures.
• Experience with Authentication, Authorization, and other security protocols.
