DevOps Engineer

DevOps – SRE – Sydney – Hedge Fund

My client, a leading global hedge fund, is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their high-performing team. With a culture of innovation at the core, they are committed to delivering exceptional returns for their investors. In this role, you will take full ownership of the development, UAT, and production environments, ensuring the seamless operation of the software delivery lifecycle.

Job Description:

• Manage Linux-based systems, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and maintain artifact storage for secure, reliable access.
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines, coordinate production releases, and ensure post-deployment verification.
• Monitor system health, performance, and continuously improve CI/CD infrastructure and development toolchains.

Job Requirements:

• Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash) and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), containers (Docker), configuration management (Ansible), and AWS.
• Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Search, and Splunk.

This position is open only to candidates currently residing in Australia.
