About Your Role
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Architect to strengthen our team in designing secure solutions and leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives.
As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure architectures. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and business teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into every layer of our technology stack.
This is a full-time position located in Espoo, and we support a hybrid working model.

Unit Description
Orion Information Management (IM) employs +80 people, of which approximately two thirds are in Espoo. Other locations are Turku, Kuopio, Hanko, Mumbai, and Nottingham. We support Orion’s business in achieving its strategic targets not only by ensuring the availability of IT services but also by constantly looking for new innovations to match the current and future business needs.

About Your Role
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Architect to strengthen our team in designing secure solutions and leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives.
As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure architectures. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and business teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into every layer of our technology stack.

- Cybersecurity Architecture: Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide security architecture in close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
- Project Security Enablement: Provide expert guidance and oversight to ensure secure design and implementation across projects and development initiatives.
- Cloud Security Governance: Establish and maintain robust cloud security frameworks, including architecture, controls, and compliance across multi-cloud environments.
- Policy and Process Enhancement: Continuously improve security policies, processes, and solutions to align with evolving regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Our Expectations
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:
- Extensive experience, +8 years, in cybersecurity and knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
- Strong technical skills in network, application, and cloud security
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or similar
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to addressing security challenges
- Fluency in English; Finnish is a plus
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, a positive “can-do” attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with Zero Trust and Secure Software Development
