DevOps Engineer- AWS

Job Description:

Orbit Sandoz Cloud project team is setting up AWS platform and services. Planning, designing building and testing of AWS platform is complete. Cloud service setup is in progress.

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join Orbit Sandoz Cloud project team. The ideal candidate will have a strong skills and experience in planning, coding, development, testing, release and deployment of AWS services using AWS native tools.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and qualifying AWS services. You will work closely with Architecture, Operations, Network, Service SME and Security teams to ensure the smooth development and release of AWS services.

Technical Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer
• Experience with CloudShell, CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, Cloud9
• Experience using X-Ray for troubleshooting code
• Experience with AWS CLi
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation – JSON & YAML
• Experience of CloudFormation Stacks
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash)
• Experience in automation of AWS Service Catalog portfolio and product deployment by using AWS Cloud Development Kit
• Experience of networking resources, i.e. VPC / WAF / GuardDuty / Routing / Firewall Manager / Route53 etc
• Experience of Secrets Manager
• Experience in Python Development
• Knowledge of security best practices in AWS cloud
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of AWS Config & System Manager

Skills:

• Understanding of Event-Driven architecture
• Understanding of Serverless Environment
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and ECS
• Knowledge of database administration, particularly RDS and Aurora
• Experience of SDLC
• Experience with Terraform
