We’re seeking a starting Researcher to join our Innovation, Research and Development team. You’ll work on exciting projects at the intersection of innovation, research, technology, society, and public policy, focusing on the assessment of policies supporting innovation, working conditions and career paths of researchers, and fostering environments that enable world-class research.

We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences (political science, economics, public policy, etc.) or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in carrying out research and/or policy analysis.
  • Expertise in qualitative (e.g., interviews, case studies, surveys) and/or quantitative (e.g., statistical/econometric analysis, structural modelling, big data analytics, web scraping) research methods.
  • A hands-on approach to executing research and ‘can do’ mentality with the ability to work both independently and in diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1–C2 level), with strong communication and presentation skills.

You Will

  • Contribute to high-impact research and evaluation projects on research and innovation policies – from collecting and analysing data, to delivering research findings.
  • Help lead and mentor junior colleagues – delegating tasks, ensuring high-quality outputs, and supporting their development.
  • Manage expert networks, organise workshops, and coordinate project activities.
  • Present research results to clients and partners at the national and EU levels.
