What will you be doing?
As a UX/UI Designer at Alfen, you play a vital role in creating attractive and effective UX/UI designs. You will conduct user research, test designs, and work on wireframes and prototypes. You will also present your designs to team members and stakeholders, validate them, and analyze user feedback and statistics. You will work on exciting products such as the HMI for battery systems, back-office interfaces for external customers, and one of our mobile applications such as Eve Connect.

What will you be doing?
As a UX/UI Designer at Alfen, you play a vital role in creating attractive and effective UX/UI designs. You will conduct user research, test designs, and work on wireframes and prototypes. You will also present your designs to team members and stakeholders, validate them, and analyze user feedback and statistics. You will work on exciting products such as the HMI for battery systems, back-office interfaces for external customers, and one of our mobile applications such as Eve Connect.
Your Main Tasks
- Define and prioritize requirements to improve our software designs.
- Actively gather feedback from internal stakeholders and end users.
- Develop ideas into flowcharts, wireframes, and prototypes up to the final screen design.
- Share findings in clear briefings for the development team and provide direction for implementation.
- Coordinate and guide the development process, making adjustments where needed.
- Work closely with product owners and team leads to evaluate progress, and align design choices and user experience with fellow UX colleagues.
You have a strong sense of visual design and a passion for improving user experiences. Thanks to your communication skills, you collaborate smoothly in multidisciplinary teams and can independently manage projects. In addition, you bring:
- A relevant completed bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as a UX/UI designer for web and/or mobile applications.
- Knowledge and experience with design tools (such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite).
- Skills in research methodologies to uncover customer needs and user experiences.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
