The Human Resources Onboarding Representative is responsible for managing and executing the employee onboarding process to ensure a seamless, engaging, and compliant transition for new hires. This role collaborates closely with HR, recruiting, and IT teams to deliver a consistent and welcoming onboarding experience. This position will also be responsible for administrative tasks associated with various human resource functions, as well as assisting with special projects as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities
$24.00 hourly
The Human Resources Onboarding Representative is responsible for managing and executing the employee onboarding process to ensure a seamless, engaging, and compliant transition for new hires. This role collaborates closely with HR, recruiting, and IT teams to deliver a consistent and welcoming onboarding experience. This position will also be responsible for administrative tasks associated with various human resource functions, as well as assisting with special projects as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute all onboarding activities for new hires, including background checks, offer letters and ensuring electronic storage of all related documents
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions and ensure all necessary HR paperwork is completed accurately and timely
- Serve as a point of contact for new hires, answering questions and providing support throughout the onboarding process
- Process updates to HRIS for employee status changes, revisions/updates to records, timely and accurately
- Ensure applicable changes are reported timely for bi-weekly payroll processing
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation for related areas of responsibility
- Assist with HRIS compliance training and reporting
- Assist employees with general questions and inquiries and escalate HR related issues to the Director of HR
- Represent the Company in a positive manner through professional conduct, attitude, and appearance
- Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
- Follow Company Confidentiality and Security policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Knowledgeable in human resources best practices, procedures and principles
- General knowledge of various employment laws and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, and attention to detail
- Confidence and presence to effectively handle interpersonal relationships and manage sensitive and confidential HR situations
- Experience with virtual onboarding processes and tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with or ability to quickly learn HRIS
- Associates Degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school in related field; or SHRM Certification preferred
- At least three years HR related experience required
$24.00 hourly
