Our client is in the process of establishing a new function to be based in Stockholm. As a global organisation and projects underway in region this role is part of a wider growth plan in Sweden.
The Role
As Project Controls Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring large-scale energy projects are delivered. You will manage the end-to-end project controls process, working closely with project managers, engineers, and senior stakeholders to track progress, control costs, and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project controls activities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Implement earned value management (EVM) to track project performance.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a project controls or planning role within large-scale energy, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost management systems.
- Experience with earned value management and risk management processes.
- Experience within renewable energy, power generation, or grid infrastructure is highly desirable.
