A Dubai-based organisation seeks an experienced Cyber Security Operations Engineer to strengthen and oversee security operations using Microsoft security platforms. This role focuses on the administration of Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and Defender for Cloud, integrating data sources, developing detection rules, and automating workflows within SIEM/SOAR environments. The engineer will safeguard cloud, network, and endpoint security, manage threat intelligence, lead vulnerability and incident management, and embed security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years in security operations or engineering (enterprise/hybrid cloud)
• Strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud
• Proficiency in threat analysis, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and scripting (KQL, PowerShell, Python)
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks and secure DevOps practices
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and Microsoft Azure certifications are desirable. Candidates with a proactive mindset and strong teamwork skills are encouraged to apply.
