Project Manager (Fintech)

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements & Design: Translate high-level business objectives into clear, detailed technical requirements. Engage with stakeholders to integrate usability and user interface needs into system designs.
• End-to-End Project Leadership: Orchestrate the entire project lifecycle, meticulously monitoring progress and ensuring development milestones are achieved on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Risk & Prioritization: Conduct thorough risk assessments for proposed solutions and strategically prioritize competing business demands to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project deliverables precisely match expectations.
• Process Improvement: Proactively review business operations to identify areas for improvement, proposing and implementing action plans to close gaps and enhance efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for projects and incidents are consistently met.
• Team Leadership: Cultivate a high-performance team culture, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive productivity and efficiency.

Core Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on project management experience within technology, strategy, or investment domains, with a proven track record of deploying solutions into production environments.
• Significant domain knowledge or prior working experience in the Fintech sector, including trading, cryptocurrency, blockchain technologies, capital markets, or financial payments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead internal development teams and manage complex projects autonomously from inception to completion.
• Deep working knowledge of Agile methodologies, with a strong preference for experience in Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• Business fluency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with our diverse teams and clients.
• Hands-on experience with project management software, specifically Jira and Confluence.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, combined with strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
