I'm working with a fantastic software company that's looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate for this role should have a developer background combined with experience in running services in a production environment. This experience should have led to an interest in reliability, infrastructure, logs, and monitoring. The company is looking for a "hands-on big data enthusiast" with experience in Terraform and Ansible to build infrastructure and a monitoring platform for their microservices
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Central London (Office Based 5 days a week)
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Industry: Software/Data Analytics
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Their Tech Stack: Python, Java, Spring, JavaScript, Vue, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, cloud computing (AWS), Terraform, ML, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Linux.
- Build infrastructures with Terraform and Ansible
- Configure and tune to business the monitoring and logging platform
- Adjusting infrastructure resources
- Adjusting product configuration
- Running plenty of tests including performance / load tests to see what where and when it fails, and repeat adjustments
- Collaborate with other team members in an agile methodology (developers, devops, data-scientists, product managers)
- Own and share codebase with the other DevOps through git
