Senior Software Engineer

Compensation:
USD 2K - 4K/month.

Location:
Remote (for México, Guatemala, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Perú, República Dominicana, Honduras, Chile, Costa Rica, Paraguay, and Uruguay residents).

What makes you a strong candidate:

You expert in JavaScript, software development, and TypeScript.
You are proficient in Node.js, React.js, AWS, and GraphQL.
You are beginner in tech leadership.
English - Native or fully fluent.

Responsibilities and more:

Execute solution engineering tasks (code/configuration for partner onboarding).
Address backlog of technical debt and small-to-medium development tasks.
Fully integrate into the engineering team’s processes (scrums, sprint planning, version control).
Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
Maintain high code quality standards and minimize rework.
Meet delivery estimates and sustain steady progress.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Ensure security by working exclusively with synthetic data in segregated environments.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.

Requisitos

Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
At least 6 months of experience leading other engineers (mentor, tech lead, or similar leadership role).
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong fundamentals in TypeScript and JavaScript.
Experience with React or React Native and Node.js.
Familiarity with GraphQL and AWS services (AppSync, DynamoDB, etc.).
Ability to write clean, maintainable code without generating technical debt.
Capable of working with minimal oversight.
Availability to collaborate with teams in Pacific Time (several overlapping hours).
