Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Analysis: Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities, including interviews, field studies, contextual inquiries, and creating user personas and journey maps.
• Information Architecture: Develop clear and intuitive navigation and information flows aligned with user needs, using user flows and taxonomies.
• User Experience Design: Develop intuitive user interfaces with wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using UX design best practices and accessibility standards.
• User Testing: Perform user tests and analyze results to refine designs.
• Facilitation and Collaboration: Facilitate the client’s product vision and lead UX design initiatives and work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Iteration and Improvement: Continuously improve designs based on feedback and testing outcomes.
• Communication: Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of UX design and UX research with portfolio showcasing business digitalization or b2b projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and facilitate design workshops or brainstorming sessions.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret user data and translate gathered insights into actionable and improved design proposals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Balsamiq and research tools such as Optimal Workshop, UserZoom
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field.

Workplace and Team Structure:

• Hybrid Work: While most of the work is remote, occasional in-person meetings with the client in Milan or at the Bitrock office may be required for specific discussions or workshops, though not on a regular basis.
• Team Structure: You will be part of a Bitrock team and will collaborate with an in-house UX Lead for guidance and alignment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with insurtech or fintech industry.
• Understanding of development basics.
• UI design skills are a plus.
