Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532921) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in the disciplines of Virology, Bioinformatics, or Biological Sciences and have a strong interest in working closely with virologists and clinicians. They are expected to be highly motivated and come up with independent lines of research enquiry. Candidates with interest in pursuing higher research postgraduate studies are encouraged to apply.

The appointee will conduct research projects related to emerging agents of hepatitis (such as rat hepatitis E virus) under the supervision of Dr. Siddharth Sridhar in a leading clinical-translational research laboratory in a vibrant international city.
