The Role

This is not about building yet another marketing chatbot, it’s about applying the newest AI advancements to solve real-world healthcare challenges. As an Applied AI Software Engineer, you’ll work on projects like:

• Agent-to-Agent architectures (A2A): AI agents that collaborate and communicate autonomously
• Model Context Protocol (MCP): Switching dynamically between models, tools, and tasks
• Prompt engineering and chaining: Retrieval pipelines, tool-use, and feedback loops
• LLM evaluation: From GPT to open-source alternatives
• Integration into secure, cloud-based healthcare platforms

Rather than training models from scratch, you’ll creatively combine existing technologies to rapidly build prototypes and bring ideas to life. You’ll collaborate closely with development, UX, product, sales, and directly with healthcare professionals to ensure solutions are practical and impactful.

What You Bring

• HBO degree or higher in a relevant field
• Experience with LLMs, agent-based systems, and AI integration
• Strong skills in prompt engineering, chaining, and retrieval pipelines
• Proven ability to quickly move from concept to working prototype
• Interest in socially meaningful work, especially in healthcare
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams
