• Location: Amsterdam (hybrid, 1-2 day/week in the office)
• Rate: €105 per hour
• Duration: 12 months (possible extensions)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst II to join our team in Amsterdam. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently to deliver impactful analytics solutions, from idea generation through to implementation. You will translate business problems into clear, actionable insights and develop scalable, reproducible solutions that drive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver complete data analytics solutions based on business requirements.
• Prepare, analyse, and visualise data to tell clear and compelling data stories.
• Create intuitive dashboards and reports to meet stakeholder needs.
• Manage relationships with junior to mid-level stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in analytics.
• Identify opportunities to apply new tools, methods, and approaches to improve efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and validate results through peer review.
• Contribute to community activities, supporting recruitment, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with the ability to work autonomously.
• Strong proficiency with Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, Tableau, Python, or equivalent tools/languages.
• Ability to create impactful visualisations and dashboards for business decision-making.
• Experience in stakeholder management and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
