System and Cloud engineer

At Getronics, we are looking for dynamic Windows Systems Engineers to support, maintain, and enhance our Client Workspace at the Operating System level. You'll be driving automation, integration, and business continuity, all while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Role Purpose

As a Windows Systems Engineer, you'll focus on system engineering, bringing value through your expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Client. We're particularly seeking candidates with experience in Azure, especially in managing storage accounts and storage account technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in operating systems engineering.
• Offer advanced technical support and serve as an escalation point for IT incidents and service requests, including coordination with third parties.
• Develop and maintain systems standards, policies, and procedures.
• Design, program, and modify scripts in various scripting languages.
• Document engineering work, incident resolutions, and recurring incidents, creating technical analyses and performance reports.
• Lead project teams and act as a resource for other team members.
• Plan, implement, and carry out maintenance for core operating systems and related components.
• Ensure performance and reliability by monitoring systems for high availability, load balancing, and satisfactory response times.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve performance issues and optimize performance.

Technical and Specific Skills / Experience

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Extensive experience with Windows 10-11 suites.
• Proven engineering support for enterprise-level configuration management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and previous versions.
• Expertise in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/ Intune, OS deployment, packaging, collection, and application deployment.
• Automation and scripting skills using PowerShell.
• Experience with Office 365 suite, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Familiarity with Windows Defender.
• Experience with Active Directory (Azure AD is a plus) and Identity Management with ADFS and MIM.
• Knowledge of Exchange 2019, change management, and upgrades.
• Certifications such as Microsoft MDAA and/or MCSE Messaging.
• Strong Azure experience and certifications.
• ITIL V3.1-V4 foundation certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
