We're building the infrastructure that allows any digital platform to embed insurance into their product seamlessly — imagine a travel booking site automatically offering trip insurance or a pet store providing instant pet insurance during checkout.

We're not just another InsurTech - we're building the future of insurance, making it digital, embedded, and customer-obsessed. Our engineering team is looking for someone to take the lead on our backend infrastructure and help shape how insurance is distributed.

What You'll Do

• Lead and collaborate on our AWS cloud infrastructure using the latest technologies
• Expand our core insurance platform using microservices
• Implement AI/ML pipelines for smart pricing and innovation
• Design compliant systems with a robust cybersecurity focus that meet strict financial regulations
• Collaborate closely with the team on architectural decisions

• Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway
• Infrastructure: AWS CDK, Terraform, New Relic
• Data & ML: Databricks, AWS Bedrock

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years AWS cloud development experience
• Proven experience in TypeScript/Node.js
• Proactive problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Based in/near Amsterdam
